Our Beautiful baby girl
Isn't she lovely, Isn't she wonderful! Our little miss Roxy girl is our life, I don't know what we're going to do when we finally have babies of our own, I wonder if they'd mind sharing a bed with Roxy? Sense we don't have any kids, we dote on her. She's as sp
oiled as we can make her. We got her when she was 8 weeks old, she was such a tiny thing. We got her from
friends in Washington that Joey knows from his mission. Our friend Nate brought her down from washington as his carry on lugage stored under his seat. To be brought on plane she needed to be sedated. Sense she was drugged she didn't act like a normaly puppy. I thought somthing was wrong with her, She was very lethargic and she looked sick. I worried over her form the time she got off the plane until the next day. By afternoon of the next day she was back to normal and exploring everything. She didn't stand a chance for a normal life from the very begining. Sense she was so tiny we carried her everywhere! just picked her up into our arms like the baby she was. He
r first unsedated night was awful. Th
us our whinner was born. When night came and bed time rolled around, we stuck her in her bed(kennel) and went to bed oursel
ves. Thats when the crying started, and the whinning. She never barked, (she still doesn't bark alot, she only barks when she's spooked, which happens rarely.) We did everything we could think to make her sleep, she took turns cuddeling up to each of us. When we all finally fell asleep, joey was on one couch I was on the other, Roxy's back legs were on my chest and the rest of her body was streched over the sofas arm and the side table. After that we tried everything. We let her sleep in our room, she always ended up stuck under the bed, we let her sleep on our bed, she stilled ended up stuck under the bed. Finally we put her in her kennel shut the door and layed down next to it until she fell asleep. Some how that stuck and she finally started sleeping in her kennel with no problem. Joey and I are very active and we love hiking and camping. When we talked about getting a dog, we always agreed it had to be active like us and we'd take her everywhere with us. We started her off young. We took her
to Bear lake three
weeks after we got her. Joey through her in the water first chance he got. After that she was a swimmer! we've t
aken her to many body's of water sense. Joey's made sure that roxy was a hiking. We took her hiking very young as well. Our first hiking trip roxy found the ONLY cactus on the mountian side, but that didn't stop her, she just kept hiking along with us. Time moves on and she got bigger, she still tried to hide under the coffee table even though she didn't fit. Our family loves dogs and almost every family has a dog, My sister Amber has two. Roxy loves playing with her cousins, she's just so full of energy. She doesn't even get tired playing with Chelsea, m
y aunt and uncles boxer. Roxy is more then a dog to us, she's our baby and she has a personality all her own. She's a whinner, and she craves attention, I practically trip over her whenever I go anywhere in the house. She's very very cuddly, even though she doesn't fit on our laps, she does anyway, she's always snuggeling up to us and we love it! this is our baby in all her glory. We can't get enough of her and we're thinking of getting her a baby sister. Human or Dog, both will work for us. We love our baby!

That was a fun read. I didn't realize that she was ever that small. She looked really cute then, not that she isn't now.
